First and foremost, I want to thank you all for the continued love and support.
Noah has had a great week. He went to Ortho on Monday and got his right cast and pins out of his fingers. He still does not have any movement in the right arm / hand / shoulder, other than the continuous pain in his elbow. The Doctors have done extensive MRI's and scans to determine where / what the pain is. It appears that it is calcium build up from the fall and impact on the elbow. He will visit a Doctor this Wednesday to see if they can do a nerve transfer in that right arm to " jump start " his usage.
On February 16, Noah will FINALLY get the pelvis x fix off, trach out, peg tube out and have a left thumb tendon transfer ( they didn't notice the tendon was torn until after the surgery was done and the 1st x ray showed it ). This will be a small procedure, but will give Noah full thumb functionality.
This big day will also start Noah's extensive rehab to have him up and walking out of the hospital by March 10th. Yep, you saw that right, March 10th. Noah's Ortho Doctor gave Noah 3 weeks to get him out of the hospital and home : ) WOO HOO
Some fun facts, Noah has thoroughly enjoyed reading comments on his Trail page, so thank you again for the support. He enjoys playing on the iPad, he loves the stories we tell him about the calls we get and MOST OF ALL, he knows God has heard each one of your prayers and he is beyond thankful.
Psalm 147:1
Praise the Lord ! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant, and a song of praise is fitting.
