Happy New Year to you all ! I am happy to see 2020 in the rearview mirror.
There’s a saying a friend told me, " There's a reason the windshield is bigger than the rearview mirror. Where you’re going is so much better then where you've been ". AMEN!
Mom got to spend the day with Noah. He was happy to see her ( since it had been a while since she got to visit ) and smiled when she walked in. He was also frustrated with her because he wanted out of the bed. The nurses got him out of the bed and into a chair where he stayed most of the day ( and looked pretty comfortable ). He is progressing very well. Today the abdomen staples came out. The incision looks GREAT. The wound on the scapula is healing nicely and the doctors confirmed no surgery will be needed ( Woo Hoo ). Some of the nurses who hadn’t seen Noah in a while stopped by to visit and he smiled at them while they were talking about him. Noah does have a small infection in his colon ( that
is being treated ) as well as he is being tested for another small infection in his
bloodstream ( which can also be treated ).
Prayers for Noah's anxiety. He is really struggling with being confined in the bed / chair ( for his safety ) as he is somehow wanting to " walk " out.
The light of the eyes rejoices the heart, and good news refreshes the bones.
