This is not what any parent wants to be doing, but I want Noah to see the power of prayer and how far he has come.
Philippians 4:6: Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
We will update you each and every day as best I can on Noah’s progress. Please feel free to comment on Noah’s Trail page and post pictures and your experiences with Noah for his encouragement.
It was a beautiful Sunday in December. Who would have known the day would have ended up in the Trauma Unit at MCV Hospital with our Noah fighting for his life.
Noah is on a ventilator with tubes, bandages, neck brace, cords and machines everywhere.
The extent of the injuries are as follows, a broken jaw, a fractured nose, 3 broken neck bones, 3 cracked ribs, a broken scapula, a broken right hand and wrist, a broken left wrist, an aortic aneurism, a hole in his bowel, a hole in his intestines, a hole his gall bladder, a whole in his bladder, 2 collapsed lungs, 2 collapsed carotid arteries and a broken pelvis.
The emergency surgery on Sunday consisted of repairing Noah’s pancreas, his gall bladder, his intestines and placing him on a ventilator to allow him to breathe.
God is GREAT and Noah is alive. He's banged up pretty good, but he is with us.
