A day that started out as a beautiful, sunny, warm weathered day ended up in the Trauma Unit at MCV Hospital with our son, brother, best friend, cousin, grandson and co-worker fighting for his life.
Noah was involved in a motorcycle accident that will now impact the rest of all of our lives. This day will forever be etched in our minds as a day we wish we could forget.
Noah’s day started off like every other day, waking up, getting food followed by a text to fellow rider and friend DJ. They all decided to meet up and enjoy the day. Sheetz in Glen Allen was the spot where they gassed up and made a “ riding route “. Once the plan was in place they took off from Sheetz hitting the back roads to Short Pump to enjoy the turns and scenery on the way. The three of them, Noah, DJ and Justin then headed up Pouncey Tract Road towards North Gayton when they passed a vehicle in the center lane attempting to turn into a neighborhood. DJ and Justin passed the vehicle but at the last second the driver decided to make a left turn in front of Noah causing him to impact the passenger rear of the car.
Noah is now in Critical Care at MCV with a long list of injuries: a broken jaw, a fractured nose, 3 broken neck bones, 3 cracked ribs, a broken scapula, a broken right hand and wrist, a broken left wrist, an aortic aneurism, a hole in his bowel, a hole in his intestines, a hole in his gall bladder, a hole in his bladder, 2 collapsed lungs, 2 collapsed carotid arteries and a broken pelvis.
This site is to know the power of prayer and for prayers to keep coming, to allow people to post pictures, videos and notes to Noah so that he can look back at this and see just how far he has come.
God is GREAT and has already proven that He is hard at work. Noah’s daily updates have proven YOUR prayers are being heard, we thank
you !
Mike, Lisa, Justin and Abigail appreciate each and every call, text, snap and email they have received. The outpouring of love is indescribable. This alone proves what an impact Noah had on people.
